Tranquil spot

Though we didnt meet, the hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Great semi-remote location.

Easy to find and plenty of room to maneuver and park, sun or shade. The National Park is very close but if you're looking for a camping experience, this is ideal. Good host, friendly and flexible. I enjoyed my stay.

This area was nice and quiet. Pretty location right near the park. Spent 2 days kayaking and walking. Their neighbor came over and brought us bread jam and sweets to welcome us. Another boondocker arrived and we enjoyed chatting with them also. J&D were great. Came by and gave us advice of where to go also. Would recommend staying here esp if you plan to visit the park.

Beautiful spot!

Thanks for letting us enjoy your place for a couple of nights! It was great to meet you both and hear some of the stories of the area. Everything we have heard about the Maritimes is true...the people are so warm! Have a great summer and thanks again.

J&D are consummate BW hosts - a wonderful and quiet 5 acres with a perfectly level gravel site for our 43' DP MH. We backed right in - and our rooftop DirecTV dish picked up perfect satellite reception as well. A very short drive to Kouchibouquoc National Park makes this a wonderful property!!

We really enjoyed getting to know J&D, and they are just outstanding people. Our lab, Sampson, got along great with their 14yr old "Fudge", and they played together so nicely. We loved Maple Haven so much, we stayed a few extra days when J&D extended the option to us. We drained our tanks and topped off our fresh water at Kouchibouquoc NP.

We'd really hope to see J&D again in our travels, and we'll certainly return to Maple Haven the next time we're in the area.

Great Stay at Maple Haven

This was just what we needed after a long day. We didn't even unhitch. We parked right on the gravel, exercised the dog and went to bed. The next day we had such an easy drive to the national park. We will want to come back. We had kayaks which were perfect for the salt marsh. Next time we'll bring bikes.

The hosts were wonderfully communicative and flexible with a delayed arrival. I bet they would have been great to meet in person.

Clare loves Fudge

We stayed an extra day because we loved the location and our 2 hosts, we even went looking for moose down the road from our site. Best neighbor also, brought over some goodies. Hope to make it back here some day. Thanks so much

Super A+

We were warmly greeted by our host and made to feel right at home. Great people and a lot of fun to be with.

If you are looking for peace and quiet. And, if you are looking to commune with nature, you’d better check this place out. Very close to Kouchibouguac National Park. Highly recommend a stay here.

Lots of places to park. Sun? Shade? Pick your spot. You have plenty of room to maneuver your rig.

This was the perfect recipe for us! Our host promised to come to Georgia and visit us this winter. We will be looking forward to seeing them again.

Wonderful people, great location!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay with Johanna123! They are such genuine, warm people! The location is great too, just up the street (we walked) from the main town square. We enjoyed their stories of their big RV adventures and would happily stay with them again or host them.

Very helpful for our first BD experience.

A great 'first experience', as we wrote in personal references

Nice and quiet like my first stay here a few months ago. Still haven’t met the host but good talk on the phone. Likely will find myself back here again.
Had to leave early to get on my way to Toronto to visit my 96yo mom.

Very Helpful

Our hosts were gracious enough to allow us to stay at their property even though they were not there. Offered helpful advice about the area. Property was easy to find.

Great experience!

Though the hosts weren't there for our visit, they opened their site for our use and even had a neighbor provide a warm welcome. The site was so relaxing - just what we needed.
Thank you for a great experience!

Great couple; Excellent place to stay. Quiet and peaceful, lots of room to park. We have been there two years in a row and have been more then welcomed by these hosts.

Quiet, peaceful.

I stayed here with hosts phone permission but he could not be there. I stayed 4 of the 5 scheduled days, needed to get some maintenance done.
The neighbours across the way were very nice, came to visit and offered water.
Very quiet full of the moon. Calming experience.

Peaceful, quiet stay

Even though our hosts needed to be away much of the time we were there, we enjoyed a peaceful, quiet stay, and appreciated the opportunity to hear about their favourite boondocker spots when we finally met. It was a nice visit.

A little piece of natural beauty

Hosts were quite responsive and helpful- even pointing us in the direction of a local mechanic for our AC!
Property is Park Like with beautiful trees, grassy areas and benches for resting. Close to the national park.

Five stars for visit. Plenty of room for parking, both shade or Sun. Host were very friendly and had a lot of local knowledge. Lots of visit time or alone time, our choice.

First rate!

We have stayed twice before and as with the other times we had a great stay. We look forward to staying there again and talking to these fine hosts.

September 2017

Fantastic stay

Thanks for having us!
We had a wonderful stay in the maple trees on the property, spent the days at the Kouchibouguac NP down the road and the nights having great chats.
The recommendations for drives and attractions were super helpful.

Great introduction to boondocking

This was our first boondocking experience and we felt like we hit the jackpot. They were about as nice as can be, helping us get set up, pointing us in the right direction and letting us know where we could pick wild blueberries. We had a great first experience boondocking and we wrote more about it and added some pictures of the area on our site:

We found this property to be the perfect spot for a well needed rest on our journey. We were warmly welcomed by these wonderful hosts and even shown where the wild blueberries grow.

Lovely place in the country but close to amazing park and lovely sea towns. Quiet and peaceful. Amazing hosts who shared lots of info on travelling as well as info on attractions in the area. Recommended as hosts or visitors.
