Off Season Travel: Advantages and Disadvantages

We consider ourselves lucky to have the option to travel at any time of year. It’s September now and we’re currently traveling in Newfoundland and plan to be here until mid-October. We chose this time of year so we could finish our tour of the province at a time when we could catch the Celtic Colors Festival as we pass through Cape Breton Island before returning home to Ontario.

Our 6 favorite places in New Mexico

The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico is probably one of the most popular festival destinations for RVers every year. If you’ve not been to it, I’m sure it’s on your bucket list. If not, it should be! It also provides the perfect excuse to spend a few extra weeks exploring New Mexico. They call it the land of enchantment for a reason. New Mexico is possibly the most colorful and interesting state in the union.
