It’s that time of year when Canadians are escaping winter and traveling south to warmer places. For RVers, this usually means somewhere in the United States. Did you know that Canadians who have been in the U.S. for more than 183 days, within the last 365 days, are subject to deportation and may also be refused entry to the U.S. in the future? There’s actually more you need to be aware of…
“Year in review” posts seem appropriate for the end of December, but it’s not just the end of a year - it’s the end of a decade! And Boondockers Welcome has existed in some form - even if just in our dreams - since 2010 (or even a little earlier). One of the great things about traveling by RV is the ability to mix business with pleasure in a way that fits your lifestyle. An RV can make the perfect office for working during a road trip. It also provides a great platform to make money, which will allow you to travel more and live a more fulfilling lifestyle.
Occasionally we receive interesting photos or stories from our hosts and guests. Recently Sunny27 reached out to us with a photo from her visit with a host in France. We were so intrigued about her travels as she used four hosts during her adventure. We decided to ask her more questions about her experience with our European hosts.
If you’re subscribed to our weekly newsletter, you’re probably aware that we’ve had a constant stream of new hosts joining. For the past few months I’ve been saying, we have “almost” 2000 host listings. So I’m pretty excited to announce that this week we reached and surpassed that milestone. I think that’s cause for a bit of a celebration, don’t you?
We encountered many surprises (good and bad) on our recent 5-week RV trip around Newfoundland.
Every Tuesday we post a guest tip of the week. We realize not everyone follows us on social media (though we would love it if you would) or has a social media account. So, we thought we would share some of the guest tips we've shared so far.
